As a key member of the Commercial Lines Department, this position is responsible for assisting the Commercial Account Executives in the development of new business and providing high quality service to our existing clients. This position exposes you to the many opportunities for career development within Commercial Insurance, and the Insurance Industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare New Business Submissions, Renewals, Endorsements.
    * Collecting data from third parties required by insurance companies as per Account Executive.
    * Compile and create documentation for your clients.
    * Providing customers with high quality professional service.
    * Working and maintaining relationships with Insurance Companies, Underwriters and vendors, negotiating policy terms on behalf of your clients.
    * Updating and documentation of all transactions on client file.
    * Working closely with Sales Account Executive to support Account Executive Sales growth and high service levels to ensure client confidence.
    * Knowledge of Policy Works and Signassure Broker systems preferred. – Training provided.

Requirements:

· Level 2 AIC License.
· 1–2 Years Commercial lines experience.
· Strong written and oral communication skills.
· Strong inter-personal skills, presentation of professional image.
· General computer skills. Familiarity with Word, Excel, Outlook.
· Outgoing positive attitude and be able to work well with others.
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
· Ability to maintain Workflow with attention to detail and time management.
· Pursue professional studies and be willing to advance in the future.
· As this position may involve meeting with clients outside of the office, a valid drivers license and a vehicle or access to a vehicle is also required.
